La Luna - New London

We had reservations for 6 PM Saturday evening. We told the waiter that we had a concert at 8 PM. He finally brought out our food at 7:45. An hour and 45 minutes!!!! Since we didn't have time to eat, we refused the food. They didn't even comp ourdrinks or apologize for the extremely long wait. DON'T GO IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER PLANS FOR THE EVENING.

We had a miserable dinner here. We had a reservation for 6:00 on a Saturday night, with plans to make a nearby show at 8:00. We were promptly seated upon arrival, so we were already browsing the menu by 6:10 and ordered shortly thereafter. The drinkscame quickly, but we were not served our SALADS until 7:00. We waited over an hour to be served our pasta dishes, nothing toocomplicated... Finally, at 7:30 we flagged down our server to ask for our dinners to be packed up so we could take them home. He argued with us and didn 't bring the wrapped up orders to us until 7:35... We had to ask him for the check then. So we leftvery hungry and instead of offering to cover our meals or at least comp the salads, we were given a flaccid apology and askedif we wanted a dessert on the house. We were then forced to be in a hurry, why would we wait even LONGER to bring home adessert??? During the time we were there, they were not especially busy, about half full with 3 4 servers on the floor. Justseriously disappointing for a first visit. I was hoping they were just understaffed and that the food would at least make upfor the miserable dining experience but neither of our orders were accurate. The penne a la vodka was served with rigatoni,and my dish was not prepared as ordered. Very frustrating when you spend almost $70 for two people who did not enjoy theirmeal.

Luna, I have no idea what you?re like. I would have ordered room service from you last night but there was no menu in my room and I couldn?t order online either. I recommend menus in all the rooms with a QR code that opens toasttab. I ate chips insteadof calamari and a caprese salad because I was too tired to try to talk to someone on the phone. Just a suggestion!

Excellent Italian food, no need to look around the town, this is the place to go.

This was the best chicken parm and garlic bread ive ever had !! the spaghettiwas not angel hair like i requested though but thats okay, you probably didnt have angel hair. i gave it to my grandma and ate the chicken and bread! thank you!!! it was still very good!!
