Rooster's Bar & Grill - New Liskeard

The patio is beautiful, the service is excellent but what really sells this place is the live music. It's the best place I've been to in New Liskeard.

I'm not usually a fan of hotel restaurants but I found Rooster's Bar and Grill, which is located inside of New Liskeard's Waterfront Inn, to be outstanding!

Great patio overlooking the lake. Not a bad beer list, but food is a bit of an afterthought.

We were reluctant to go to Roosters because it's attached to a hotel and smelled like cigarette smoke (or something....), but it was the Civic Holiday Monday, it was late, we were very hungry and tired of driving around looking for the restaurant we wanted to go to.The pasta dishes that we ordered were tasty and the portion size satisfactory for a hungry traveler. My salad was sufficient but the salmon I added was not. The portion size was minimal.Quite expensive for all the dishes we ordered, but our tastebuds were happy.

Disappointed in the knowledge of the servers. A male server said the special was one thing while the chalk board said something else. He said he would check but never did. A waitress said the sign was wrong. They should know. The food itself was mediocre at the best. The view was good.
