Soul Food Connection - New Iberia

Look I'll be the first to admit I really wasn't that familiar with many of the restaurants in the New Iberia area. But after working here for a week I am thoroughly impressed by the food and the restaurant owners and workers. I want to thank the young lady working the register at Moore's today she was exceptional. I ordered the crawfish etouffee which came with fried fish, white rice, green beans and potato salad. I really have no complaints about this meal it was really good and the amount of food received is what one would expect.This is definitely a hole in the wall. But a hole in the wall with a bunch of really nice people coming in and out ordering food to go. I had great conversation with other customers who were also waiting for their food. Most definitely a go to place whenever I come back in the area.

The food here is authentic Cajun soul food with no corners cut!! This has become my favorite go-to lunch spot. The customer service is always on point! The owners are native to the area is always promoting community togetherness. I am never disappointed with the food or the experience!

I must say this little place serves some awesome home cooked meals at a reasonable price. The young lady who runs it offers excellent customer service to say it’s a one person show. I had their smother pork chop, collard greens, cornbread and dinner roll all for $7.00. The food is to die for.
