Contribuiți la feedbackWhat a fantastic restaurant! The moment we stepped inside, we felt like we were in Ireland. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. We especially enjoyed the classic poutine, the Toastie (a grilled cheese special), and the various fun Guinness blend options. The Irish coffee was also outstanding! The service truly stood out—one of the servers overheard me mentioning that I needed a bandage for a blister from all the walking, and she kindly brought one to me. Such a thoughtful gesture!
I imagine this is what it would be like to be in Ireland. Lively, bustling, and just an overall good time! Great beer list, even for me who can't handle dark brews. All the food was prepared with love, not salty, and just very comforting. Service was excellent attentive but not hovering. There are several areas to choose from depending on your mood... the bar, dining room, and back room with live music, had their own personalities. Looking forward to warmer weather to enjoy the outdoor setup!
I really enjoyed our visit to this establishment. While staying in the area for our anniversary, my husband chose this place among many other options because he'd never had Irish food... funny, because he ended up ordering a Grilled Chicken BLT smh. But, I'm glad that we chose to have our dinner here for a number of reasons: plenty of on the street parking, intimate outdoor seating with a nice bar, TV, and plenty of greenery/flowers, service was very efficient and friendly (Thanks, Becky! , the prices are extremely reasonable especially during the times that we live in ordered two apps, two entrees, 3 drinks, and a dessert for only 128 with tax and a 20% tip, and most importantly, everything was delicious, fresh, and portions were really nice sized. Recommend the CB Poutine, the fritters (Irish take on the eggroll , and the fish and chips fish was melt in your mouth on the inside and crunchy on the outside... the Pot du Creme was decadent and perfect. Great option in beautiful New Hope!
We took a day trip to New Hope, PA, where there are plenty of restaurant options. Our family decided to give Dubliners a try. It has the charming ambiance of an old Irish pub, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The bar area looked like a lively spot. Now, onto the food—everything we ordered was quite good, but my son's first hamburger was overcooked. The server acknowledged it and promptly prepared a new one, cooked to a nice medium as requested. The standout dishes were the Reuben sandwich and the fish and chips. We would consider returning, but we’d like to explore some of the other restaurants in town first.
Over time, the menu has been thoughtfully updated to include some fantastic options like a pleasantly curried vegetarian shepherd's pie, Impossible burgers, and gluten-free indicators, which is a huge plus for me, especially since they've switched to a non-flour-based roux for their traditional shepherd's pie. The chef is always eager to chat about food preparation, and he sports some very cool chef hats. Plus, if you ask, they have HP sauce available! Don't let the often-bustling entry bar discourage you; there's plenty of space in the back, in a loft area above the bar, and if the weather permits, you can enjoy the outdoor seating as well. They often feature live Irish music in the back room on weekends, where there are tall tables, and if you’re lucky, you might hear barman Keith sing. If there’s ever an issue with a dish, which is rare for me, the servers have always been quick to resolve it, so don’t leave unhappy. This restaurant is one of the few places around here where you can enjoy Magners Cider on draft, which is enough of a reason for me to keep coming back. They also offer great recommendations for finding live music when you're in Dublin, Ireland.
