Zeneli Pizzeria E Cucina Napoletana

My original plan when I arrived in New Haven was the try Frank Pepe’s Pizza but the line was too long so I decided to go across the steer to Zeneli Pizzeria I’m glad I did. This is the closest thing to authentic Italian pizza I saw the brick oven inside and I was very impressed. The meat pizza and margarita pizza were incredible the service was good and the restaurant is owned by real Italians. My experience was excellent and I would highly recommend.

Enjoyed dining outside! Sunday evening was a good choice promptly seated, server (one of the owners) came quickly, and the wait for the food was very short! We had the arugula salad and two personal pizzas. The pizza is quite different for the other establishments on Wooster Street, nice char, but still soft and chewy. Excellent options with bufalina cheese, that is necessary for me. Owners were friendly and conversational, it's great to see a family run business. We'll definitely be back.Dietary restrictions: For those who need to watch their lactose intake, the bufalina cheese here is a welcome menu item.

Excellent service! We were seated quickly and all our dishes came out in a flash. The ricotta toast was amazing and I’m so glad other reviewers shared this tip! The mozzarella prosciutto app was a hearty size. We also enjoyed a prosciutto pizza and finished every bite. We didn’t leave room for the Nutella pizza but that’s why we need to come back again.

Zeneli's Neapolitan pizza in the midst of New Haven's coal-fired pizza street is a refreshing change. Amidst the competition, Zeneli's unique style stands out, offering a delightful Neapolitan experience. For those visiting Pepe's, a detour to Zeneli's is well worth it, stop have a drink enjoy the fresh basil on your pizza.

This was my second time at Zeneli’s and everything was delicious! You must try the appetizer with the homemade bread, ricotta and honey! Good variety of vegetarian pizzas and the dessert pizzas with Nutella and strawberries was way better than we imagined ?Vegetarian options: Plenty of options also marked very clearly on the menu.
