Sushi On Chapel - New Haven

Excellent service and eating, very friendly and personal. eating was sometimes a little fishy, but not too much for my taste. I don't think it's too much for a seafood lover. maybe fish for people with a regular palette, but it seemed just fresh. the black rice is the best, portion sizes are good and I eat a lot of olive. affordable although it looks fancy, I spent about $42 on a main dish, appetizer, suppe and a la carte with only water. not too bad in the bag.

Good new haven sushi. If u keep ur expectation reasonable, u would like this place. Sushi and sashimi both are good enough. They have relatively good selection of liquor considering this is a sushi place.

Food was good. Service was fast. Not huge sushi eaters but this was worth trying something new!

Good atmosphere even in the midst of a pandemic. Food came out slow but they were very polite throughout the wait with complementary edamame...which is always a nice appetizer. The purple rice sushi will make you smile and it tastes fantastic.

A friend of mine got me the sweet potato rolls since im vegetarian and they were amazing. Only down side so far is that they have grubhib and not uber eats. Ive had issues with grub hub before.
