Salsa Fresca Mexican Grill - New Haven

The food at this restaurant is incredibly delicious and fresh, in my opinion even better than Chipotle. The food allergy chart they provide is extremely helpful, listing the most common allergens.

The tacos at this restaurant are excellent. It is a wonderful choice for a delicious and fresh meal at a reasonable price. The fillings and salsas are all tasty and come in a variety of flavors. The Cilantro Lime dressing is particularly delicious. I highly recommend trying the salsa fresca.

I discovered this restaurant on Groupon while in the area. It's like an upgraded version of Chipotle with a wider range of options. Parking may be a challenge, but it's worth the wait. The dining area is spacious and clean, with easily accessible restrooms.

I love this Mexican restaurant. Every time I decide not to do Chinese, I go for this Mexican restaurant instead. I'm here twice and I really enjoyed the two visits. There is a special menu called “the bowl”. Consequently, when I visit, I will just ask Amanda for the bowl and she will join me. The food tastes great and the workers are polite and react. There is also a wheelchair accessible entrance.

We wanted to try something near the campus of Yale, this was one of the top recommend food places via google. The staff was extremely friendly but the food was subpar. We ordered Mexicali Blue burrito. Both my wife and I commented on how dry it was. The portions were really good as we both walked away feeing well fed. The chips and salsa were nothing to brag about it either. The only redeeming quality was the drink flavors. We both loved the creamy red birch beer.
