Rocco’s Bakery - New Haven

Every time I go there it's outstanding been doing it for 20 years plus he got to go there the cookies the cannolis did cakes that's what I picked up today Italian birthday cake for my son unbelievable

Horrible customer service this morning. I asked the young girl working if there was any cookies with nuts she told me no with her rude attitude. I was getting a pound of cookies and I asked her if there was any upfront she told me no. I went to check out and luckily there was a nice older woman who help me and there was the cookies I wanted right in front of my face the ones who the employee told me they had none. I went home and my friend who was with me got the stuffed lobster tail and I pulled out a huge piece of hair. It's disappointing because up until that point the pastry was yummy. I don't like dirty places and rude people. It's a shame I heard such good stuff about this place for years and today was the first day I tried it.

My husband drove an hour out to roccos, we ordered 114.00 worth of baked goods for Christmas. We thought we would get the good cookies out of the display case, they were aweful. Like the came out of a box. Terrible. The deserts were lousy. They use a jellied strawberry for the top of a cheese cake we ordered. I was so disappointed. NEVER AGAIN

I been going there since I was a kid great food and treats ?

Anna is wonderful and I use to live in Bay Ridge Brooklyn and the pastries were good there but Roccos is by far better than any bakery in Bay Ridge. Also the staff at Roccos is so helpful and Anna is the BEST.!!!!
