Harvest Wine Bar Restaurant - New Haven

We have passed this place many picturesque and never realized how cozy and also upwards the inner is! they could offer a few more vegetarian options, but they had enough to make a meal from delicious appetizers. this is a great place to celebrate a special occasion.

I visit Harvest at least twice a month since moving to New Haven five years ago, and I also enjoy their sister restaurant, South Bay, for Sunday brunch. Harvest consistently offers a fantastic atmosphere and excellent meals. I usually go on Wednesdays because they have half-priced wine. However, last Wednesday I had a disappointing experience, but it wasn't due to the restaurant itself. A very rude customer seated next to me was yelling at every staff member who passed by. I considered asking to switch tables, but the restaurant was very busy, and I didn't want to burden them with more work. I ended up eating my meal very quickly so I could leave. I really hope that young lady won't be there next Wednesday. Management, please consider taking action against disruptive customers like her, as she made the experience unpleasant for everyone.

I absolutely love this place! The spacious open staircase creates a welcoming atmosphere that feels both comfortable and serene while still being connected to the vibrant energy of Chapel Road. The food is consistently fresh and delicious, and brunch is definitely one of our favorites!

My son and I had a wonderful dinner at Harvest, and every aspect of our experience was excellent. We opted to sit at the bar and truly appreciated the decor and ambiance. The bartender was incredibly friendly and offered great assistance with both food and drink selections. We began with charred octopus and mussels, which were delightful. For the main course, I had a linguini dish while he went for a mixed seafood entrée. The cocktails were fantastic, and I especially enjoyed the Flirtini.

Love this restaurant. A beautifully designed menu everything is gorgeous and tastes delicious. The Prix Fixe lunch option is terrific filling!!
