Green Well Cafe - New Haven

The owner was very friendly, and my family and I had a great time. The food was excellent, especially the vegan banana muffin. It's great that they offer vegan options, like oat milk, at this restaurant.

I visited the café at 8:15 on a Saturday morning with a book, and was taken aback by how loud and rude he was. Despite the beautiful art and potential for a comfortable atmosphere, his negativity overshadowed my experience. In the future, I may give it another try, but only if they address this issue.

This café in downtown New Haven is fantastic. It has plenty of space, yet still feels cozy. I would definitely recommend it!

I had a frustrating experience at this restaurant. I ordered a single espresso but was given a long espresso in a double-walled cup, even though there were cups available for here. The staff insisted it was for here, which was clearly a lie. I was not happy with the incorrect drink served to me. To make matters worse, the staff insulted me after I left when I tried to explain what an espresso should be. Overall, I was disappointed with the service and the coffee quality. I suggest the staff educate themselves on the proper way to serve an espresso before serving it to customers in the future.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. Their juices and smoothies were made with real fruit, setting them apart from other coffee shops. The breakfast sandwich I had was fresh and delicious, with no signs of being pre-made or reheated. The décor was trendy and environmentally friendly, and I especially enjoyed the large bouncy ball chairs. Although there were some issues with noise and the germ barriers, the staff were all friendly and welcoming. Overall, this place is worth a visit.
