Barb's Family Diner - New Glasgow

I went to Barbs for dinner. The fish is outstanding. The owner and staff are very friendly and professional. The size of fish and taste is better than any other place I’ve been that serves haddock. You leave full and may have to take leftover with you. 5 out of 5.

My husband and I left the highway at New Glasgow exit to find breakfast. We traveled a few miles to Barb’s Diner. It was nearly full at 10am. My omelette was delicious, and my husband’s pancakes were good. Portions were huge, so we may enjoy leftovers for lunch!

My family and I stumbled upon this place looking for a late lunch, and i am so thankful we did! We had the cheeseburger, hot turkey sandwich, fish cakes, western sandwich and the Mac and cheese. For dessert we had the sticky toffee pudding and coconut cream pie. Every single thing we ordered was amazing! The waitress was so kind and we received our food quickly. I can’t wait to come back!

This diner is excellent! Its nothing fancy however the decor is made to make everyone feel very at home. The prices are absolutely excellent and the food is fantastic! We had the fish and choose and a cheeseburger and both were amazing. The service was also fantastic. We will definitely come back when we pass through the area again!

If you want home cooked meals, this is the place! I’ve been here 3 times and each time doesn’t disappoint! Friendly staff, great food at good prices. It’s usually hard to get a seat because it’s so busy but it’s worth the wait :
