Puempel's Olde Tavern - New Glarus

I am truly amazed by the hospitality at this restaurant! It's a must-visit in New Glarus. The staff and regular patrons made me feel like family and went the extra mile to ensure I felt welcome. I would gladly drive for hours just to enjoy this place again. Plus, there's a dog-friendly patio if you're passing through with your furry friend!

This is a fascinating bar adorned with beautiful wall murals and a unique history. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is friendly. They have a dog-friendly patio, and our waitress even brought a special treat for our pup. The only downside is that the food menu is somewhat limited.

Yogi was an excellent waitress who provided us with great recommendations for places to visit in New Glarus and Green County. The brats were amazing, and I really enjoyed the cheese curds and New Glarus beer. The atmosphere was very charming.

Horrible service. Save your time and money and go across the street to dirty dog taphaus, sugar river pizza or any other establishment. We were ignored at the bar for 20 minutes, so we decided to leave. You’ll get way better service at dirty dog! Won’t be back to this dump.

Limited menu. We enjoyed our sandwiches. The service was very good. Would eat here again if we are in town.
