My family and I attended with the intention of having a late breakfast / brunch. Five of us approached the counter at ten past twelve to order. However, as it was passed twelve they wouldn't accept any breakfast orders even though the times are not listed on the menu. 40 minutes later our meals arrived, well some meals as they all came out at different times.

From small beginings this resuarant has had a complete overhaul. We were made very welcome by our 2 charming waitress's and started the night with a lovely Shiraz. It wasn't long before our waitress explained the mouth watering menu and we made a choice to try a bit of most of the suggestions she made. The meals came out not long after and I must say that I have never been a big fan of Japanese food BUT... this food was to die for. We kept repeating some of the dishes because they were that good. After the meal we insisted on meeting the cook who was very knowledable and charming. Would not hesitate to recomend this place to friends.

Had an excellent family Breakfast/ Brunch over the weekend in the restaurant, by the fire with lovely view of the Macedon Ranges. Excellent service and menu. Food quality was outstanding with portion size was just right. Baked beans with Charizo sausage was outstanding. Am a regular here. Love the setting and vibe. They seem to trial new and different things. Great to see an everyday quality breakfast menu. Japanese menu has been ok for something different but not regularly. Good to see a regular priced happy hour menu as previously drinks were well and truely overpriced. Might become a more regular customer now ..... def give place a try. They are working hard to find their feed and responsive to feedback.

Had lunch with family and friends. On the surface when we arrived the place looked nice. Only to be shoved in a booth blocking out the views of Mt Macedon on a 4 seater table with 5 persons. Menu was extremely limited with no children's menu.Roast was $40 to receive 2 pieces of meat with a extremely dry over cooked potatoes and veg, but then had to share with another person who also ordered the roast. The other meals were also very small and meat dry and over cooked. When we complained the waiter ignored us. We will never return again.

Booked for a 70th for Sunday lunch. Sat 5 of us on 4 seater table. Ordered from a very unsophisticated waiter and had to wait nearly an hour for our meals even though we were one of the first in.Ordered roast special for 2 guests, only for it to come out as a shared plate. 4 pieces of meat and no more than 8 shrivelled pieces of vegetables for $80.00.Shanks or 1 shank as it were, and Duck were dry and served in a bowl.Over priced meals in a underperforming restaurant. Well 2nd rate establishment anyway.Complained and the manager said that they had never received any complaints or bad reviews. Well after reading some other reviews, someone's lieing. Won't step foot in the place again.
