Poulner Fish Chips - New Forest

The residents of Poulner, near Ringwood, are truly lucky to have such a fantastic fish and chip shop in their neighborhood. This gem of a Chippie offers rare quality in their food. My family of six enjoyed incredibly fresh haddock and crispy, light chips, all served in eco-friendly paper containers by three friendly and polite staff members. Best of all, it was affordable! The old price list in the photos above may be outdated, but the quality of the food is still top-notch. While we waited for our delicious meal, we were pleased to see a constant stream of satisfied customers, a good sign of a great restaurant. So, Poulner residents, give a round of applause for your Gold Top Chippie!

The fish and chips were excellent with a wide selection of other menu options available. The quality and quantity of food were very good. The batter was light and crunchy, and the chips were delicious.

We decided to get fish and chips tonight, ranked with our order and was told it would take, I thought this was strange as they had just opened (I worked on a chippy in my student days) we went on. waiting the way to the house and the load was empty. we were at the time spent and had a minute to wait. yes mins for two fish and chips. my wife was entertaining, however, as the server friends set up and handed over all, but this slows down the process they had to talk. despite the order number one his friends were served yeap they guessed what looked like fish and chips best, but on the way he forgot the salt, so everything had to be new. this is not the way to treat customers to serve their friends, especially to see that no money changed hands and no masks were worn. customers treated with contempt and leave waiting outside in the cold, so that he can leave room for friends who on the way there van at the corner causes an impediment.

I recently moved to Poulner and decided to try the chip shop with my family. I must say it was fantastic - clean, tasty, affordable, with friendly staff. We will definitely be back as regular customers.

This is our local chippy and eating is ok, but every time the service is painfully slow. today I came to a part of the chips and even had to sit and wait for them. they say they cook everything to order, but it must be a reason that this is not necessary in any other perfectly good chip shop I have ever visited. eating is okay, but not in the understood, the award-winning. there is nothing to see in the hot cabinet because they haven't cooked it yet. you can't go in and see what your lust takes. I waited for a part of chips and they weren't even busy. Last time I tried to add a part of chicken nuggets to the order of the big chips and shattered and add a small toy and the nuggets would have broken a window they were so hard. they had been precooked. tend to drive to harleys in verwood, which I eat in less time and that is always on the ground.
