Tequila Sal Y Limon - New City

A great Mexican restaurant in New City! My colleagues and I often visited for lunch. The friendly dinner host made our experience even better. They serve incredible mango margaritas, and it’s the perfect cozy spot for a date night! The food is delicious and just the right portion.

This restaurant is seriously overrated compared to other Mexican eateries. My son adores Mexican cuisine, and we ended up here because Fiesta Acapulco is closed on Mondays. We ordered the same meal—steak tacos, rice, and beans—and they charged us $55. At other restaurants, this same order costs only $33. The food itself deserves only one star; I requested soft tortillas for the tacos, but they were thick and seemed like they had been frozen. I specifically reminded them to make the order soft. I feel like I wasted $55 because we couldn't eat the food. I do not recommend this place at all.

Authentic Mexican cuisine awaits you at this delightful restaurant. The staff is friendly, attentive, and charming, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It's an ideal spot for a family dinner or a romantic meal for two. I absolutely love the filet mignon tacos! They even have a reputation for offering extra mini drinks to end your evening on a high note. Overall, it's a wonderful place for a stroll in the new city.

Tamales were delicious near perfect. Margaritas were fantastic, make yourself a favor to get a pitcher. Fresh Guac was also good. Only the problem was that I ordered my steak med, rarely it came out in the middle. He called for the correction before eating one of them and after a slight debate with the staff was corrected and properly prepared. I felt no animosity and tipped more than appropriate for the effort. I'm sure it was a great meal and a great environment.

Great food. Sangria too strong mixed with tequila. Little pricey.
