Hilltop Deli Pizza - New City

Nice deli with good sandwiches. Haven't tried the pizza but it looked good. Service was fast.

I ordered tacos and was able to see inside the kitchen. The person preparing the food was not wearing any gloves and used their bare hands to handle the ingredients. This immediately turned me off and I asked to speak to the owner, requesting a refund due to the lack of hygiene practices. The staff complied and returned my money, but one employee rudely told me to leave. It is unacceptable to handle food without gloves, especially in a time with so many dangerous viruses. The staff showed no respect and failed to apologize. I do not recommend eating at Danny's Pizza. I wish the Hilltop Deli family would return to this location, as they are sorely missed. Stay away from Danny's Pizza – it is not sanitary!

This restaurant lacks professionalism and does not treat non-Hispanic customers with respect. It is recommended to look elsewhere for a better dining experience. The vegetarian options are not fresh and could use improvement.

Best pizzeria in rockland county, with phenomenal workers! Many delicious options from hot food(chicken, steak, fish, rice.. etc) pizza, salads/wraps!Highly recommend.. they also provide catering. Danny is the sweetest and always makes me feel welcomed with a smile!
