Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - New Castle

Opening week they were phenomenal! The service was quick , and the quality of the food was excellent. However on my last two visits I have had a much different experience. The staff seems very confused. The orders from both visits were missing items, and the quality of food dropped greatly. The portion sizes of the chicken was very small for the price. It was also very dry, and tasted old. It is a shame because this location showed great potential when it first opened. Istill have hope that it will improve, but I won't be visiting for a good while.

Our office staff ordered from this location for lunch today. I had ordered shrimp for $13.60 and it was so overcooked the actual shrimp were plastic feeling, no way edible. This is the second time eating here since they opened a couple months back. The first time the chicken was overcooked as well. Not sure what is happening there but it has so far been a let down. Would not mind paying the higher price if food was actually worth it.

Stopped their yesterday. All I wanted was an 8 piece family meal. The guy on the speaker could not understand me and I had no idea what he was saying. After repeating 8 piece box at least six times he finally said oh, 8 piece chicken box. I said yes. He said we don?t have any chicken legs is that ok. I said no thank you and drove off. Management, please put someone at the order taking position who can speak and understand English. You are going to lose a lot of business if youdon?t.

I went thru Door Dash and everything went great!!! They say 30-40 min within 30 min of ordering I was texted that dasher picked up on the way! Food was delicious! Chicken juicy and tender, both sandwich and classic chicken dinner pieces! Hot apple pies beignets Mmmmm good! Definitely will be back!!

Order was right only issue there was is they forgot to give us our sauces and straws and instead of putting fries in a small box they just threw them in a small to go bag and by time we got our order our food was ice cold.
