Riardo's - New Castle

They are always so nice and we order from there about once a week! a hidden gem in new lock

When I went vegan a few years ago, it seemed impossible to find vegan options in the new Castle-New Wilmington range, pa area. now where I moved, vegan eating is everywhere up (go figure) and riardo is one of these places. while I visited my family, I admitted places to go to my birthday dinner, and riardo came up. I have reviewed their website and was impressed by the fact that they have a vegan packaging, vegan wings and the impossibility burger. then I found out that they have vegan specialties weekly. To be honest, for me at this point it is enough to have only one vegan burger on the menu, but riardo goes beyond creating intentionally new and special dishes for vegans, and that is so important. I wasn't super interested in the vegan special they had while I was there, so I just ordered their classic burger that exchanges meat for the impossibility of burger, and even that was a joy! if I were the next time in the opposite, I would like to try out one of their specials (soy bacon? vegan cheddar? sincean? I'll take him, please. for a vegan burger the price was quite good, and a dozen flower cabbage wing costs the same as a dozen non-vegan wing that surprises me. also the staff was incredibly nice with several people who came by to check how we did it. I was not a big fan of the sitting places we had, and instead of sitting on the terrace or where some other tables are from the bar, we sat in the corner near the bar, sitting in folding chairs. but honestly, eating has made itself to my opinion, so I would eat there again in a definitiw!

Riardo’s has a surprisingly large vegan menu and the food is delicious! I will definitely go back whenever I am in town.

Riardo's has to be the most vegan-friendly restaurant in this area, and it does not disappoint! While most restaurants out here maybe have the Imossible or Beyond burger (no option for vegan cheese), Riardo's goes above an beyond with an entire (albeit still somewhat small) vegan menu. Burgers, quesadillas, wraps, sandwiches, wings...The food is so delicious and filling—you can tell the team really puts effort into their vegan options! Updated from previous review on 2022-09-13
