Restaurant L'Heritage de New-Carlisle

We walked to this restaurant from our B&B. It is in a historical building with an interesting history posted by the road. We were greeted by our waitress who was so kind and accommodating. The menu had many offerings but I had the special (ham dinner). It came with soup, vegetables, potatoes, coffee and a dessert. My wife ordered a lighter meal and both were excellent. Meals ran from $12 to $15 (Canadian).We could not decide among the delicious looking desserts so she brought us a portion of our two finalists. What service! This is an unpretentious restaurant but really knows how to serve good food.

If you're looking for a good "mom and pop" meal; just stop here! The service is great, the food is always good, and they have the best fry sauce!! If you're looking for a good breakfast, this place is fantastic!

We meet in different restaurants each week to visit and catch up on our week. We like to eat at the Heritage often. The food is tasty and they have homemade bread for toast if you wish.

The food was incredible! The lobster bisque was delicious! The service was also top-notch. I'm not a huge fan of fish, so I opted for the shrimp fettuccine Alfredo and it was so delicious.

It seems like this restaurant has closed down. I visited today for happy hour and the building is empty with a STOP WORK order posted on the front door. What a disappointment.
