Cinco De Mayo - New Brunswick

The food here is authentic Mexican food. You will enjoy it and not be disappointed. The Mole sauce is delicious and all appetizers were spot on. I wasn't too fond of the Cactus texture because it felt a little slimy to me but that's ok because I just didn't know what to expect. I've been here thrice now, over the last 2 years and would definitely recommend if. Disclaimer the place is a bit dive y hole in the wall and there isn't much to sit in, but if you're all about the food, then this is a good place.

I ordered a Burrito Supremo but when it arrived it was small like a 16oz steak. Also the service is not up to standards. Also the floors are sticky like if they were not mopped properly. Would not recommend to any friends or family

This spot is fantastic. The food is authentic and the service is down right impeccable. When we pulled up the lights were off but we saw the back door was open. We knocked on the back door and asked if they were closed. The woman that answered said yes but wait one second. After a minute or so she came back out and said okay you can come in from the front. They opened just for us. Incredible Our server was incredible. Never experienced such great service. Truly a remarkable young woman. When she mentioned the fresh drinks they offer, we asked about them. She explained each drink and then asked if we wanted to try them. She came back with a tray with little cups of each drink for every single one of us. That was above and beyond. I felt taken care of. Food was always served with a smile. Extremely polite and very sweet. As for the food, fantastic. Authentic Mexican food. Me and my friends were all feeling tacos, so we went taco crazy. My favorite was the Tinga de pollo. Also their verde sauce is very good. You really can't go wrong with their tacos. Oh and the tamarindo is a must. Will definitely be coming back to try more of their menu.

I asked for a bean and cheese burrito. The guy said it comes with rice is that ok? I said yes little did I know THE ENTIRE BURRTO WAS NOTHING BUT RICE. No cheese or beans to be found in that burrito. What a bummer lol. Cool place tho it 's sick they do shows for young bands.

This is a poor excuse for tacos and guac. I ordered delivery and this is how they had the nerve to send my food. I paid for a side of guac and they gave me a table spoon amount. The tacos were just soggy fish thrown in 2 tortillas, no onions, no cilantro, nothing. Reference pictures. The only reason I gave this 2 stars instead of 1 is because maybe this happened b/c it was delivery and not eat in? If you eat food from this place, DON 'T do delivery. Definitely eat in. You might have a better experience
