Jimmy's Food Drink - New Brighton

Overall the food was good, the Cesar salad dressing I prefer on the side but it was still good. (Just too much dressing) Waffle fries- 10/10: the sour cream dip was something different for me, not sure if that’s a state thing or just a Jimmys thing, but it was good! A tad salty but it’s not bad Walleye: first timer and loved how it’s not fishy in taste. HIGHLY RECOMMEND not doing the tartar and just rubbing the garlic butter it’s wayyyyyy better. Adds so much flavor it’s missing, that adding Tatar makes it so plain. TRY IT. TRUST ME 10/10 The wild rice was basic but good. Needed a little more something. But it’s not bad! 7/10 Service… was okay. I understand everyone is struggling for staff so not taking points on that. I did wait a lot for the server to come around and for my receipt, I thought she grabbed mine when I saw her for the tab that had showed up after me. Just felt ignored through the process from the moment I arrived that I originally sat by the bar and then moved to family side. Being nice on the 7/10

That wasn't the first time here. my friend and I just stopped because we were in the neighbourhood and we were hungry. we were very happy with the service, the drinks were big **** mary with beer-chaser), and that was delicious. the best part was that it was happy hour, and they have 3 per day there! the prices were also reasonable. one of the appetizers we had, was walleye highly recommended!

The service was very professional, and the tables were beautifully arranged. It was wonderful to enjoy a meal with family and friends without having to worry about cooking or cleaning up. The staff did an excellent job.

Kim and Maria are the best bartenders—friendly and attentive! The Bloody Marys at the bar are excellent, and all the breakfast items are fantastic. If you order a steak medium rare, you can trust that you’ll actually get it cooked to perfection! During happy hour, you can get a second drink for just $1.50, which is a great deal. The bar is spacious and features a terrace where dogs are welcome! It’s a wonderful spot for drinks and delicious food. Definitely stop by; you won’t be disappointed, and you’ll likely want to come back!
