Food was excellent. We had the rack of lamb and pork chop highly recommend both. Stand out was the spectacular crème brûlée. We will try again in the future.
The misses and I were super happy with the overall experience. Dave was our waiter and he took very good care of us. We started with the bruschetta and I am not a tomato guy but it was really delicious. We next had the Cesar salad which I loved the dressing (did I detect anchovy in it? either way it was delicious. Our entrees were the filet and I had the hanger steak with the chimichurri sauce, which I found absolutely delicious! Our only complaint was my honeys filet was supposed to be medium rare and it was more toward the rare side but it was simply because it was so thick. We will most certainly be back!!
Love this place. We have been here serval times for date night. Our favorite dish is the ribeye with the garlic mash potatoes, delish!
My first time at Gruene Door. Really enjoyed all the food, but expected more abiance .... for a detail item...water spots left on clean silverware.
