Rhea's Ice Cream Gruene - New Braunfels

We had a fantastic time at this charming venue in the lovely town of Gruene. We visited a few months ago to enjoy live Jazz music and had a blast! We were thrilled to discover this hidden gem. The stage is surrounded by small tables, creating a casual atmosphere where you can order drinks. We also indulged in some gourmet ice cream from a nearby shop, which had unique and delicious flavors. We can't wait to return to listen to more bands and explore the quaint and wonderful town of Gruene.

The customer service was lacking, deducting 1 star. The line was long and exposed to the sun with no shade until reaching the bar, deducting another star. However, the drink was delicious and satisfying, just as a good Bloody Mary should be.

Who are the people leaving these 5-star reviews? The restaurant only has a few food options and everything we ordered was disappointing. We chose to dine there because the patio seemed lively in the photos, but in reality, it was quite dull with no live music or any music playing at all. I wanted to try their drinks, but I couldn't stay for long after having just one beer.

Wonderful little spot with a great atmosphere and vibe. Very kid and dog friendly! A bratwurst wagon, old tyme ice cream parlor, and a Speak easy located in the basement!!! This place packs a punch and you won't soon forget it. Toss so bags out back, very short wait time for drinks and this is the spot. Enjoy the live music and don't be afraid to bring your own chairs cuz this place is lively and sometimes pretty busy. Enjoy!

Fantastic place, the atmosphere is so great. Customer service is great. Also, the Wurst food truck ???? is awesome. Food is great. Live music is phenomenal. In general this place is worth the visit.
