Waffle House - New Bern

Much tension among the staff when we were there. Soils didn't look like they were cleaned in days. See photo of cheeses. Really?

My daughter for breakfast. Totally unorganized. We stood up there and wanted to be asked if we were to wait. Never sit. I had three tables that had to be wiped off. The guy who came after us sat when we got out. They were busy, but not since urgency. The server was just there. I would recommend going over the road to IHOP

Great staff, we were the only customers when we arrived, not sure if they had only one hurry, but there were many dirty tables and the bar area was the same. the only real complaining was that my friend did not get her whole order. it was late and we didn't want to go back, so none of us called.

Was the worst experience ever. Felicia our waitress was either incompetent. Was eating while on clock and even fell. Couldn't get order right. Had to repeat multiple times. We got our own silverware and straws. My husband got his wheat toast when he was more then halfway done eating. 1st time in New Bern. Will never come here again. If I could leave a zero, I would. She was terrible.

I can 't even believe the experience I just had at waffle house in New Bern. I walk in about 5:45am to get some breakfast before I go to work, there are two other customers in there. One at the register being rang up and one waiting for his food. The cook, a short younger girl with blue hair, turns and sees me and then turns to the customer at the register and says why can 't everyone just come in at one time. I 'm trying to get my work done and it would be easier if people would just come all at the same time. Never said one word to me, no greeting or anything, but stood there talking to another customer basically about how much of an inconvenience I was for her just because I didn 't show up to her job at a time that works for her. I 've never felt so disrespected in my life. As someone who 's a manager in a retail business I can 't imagine one of my employees ever saying something like that in front of a customer. Safe to say this is the last time I 'll ever go to this waffle house.
