Kim is truly the best person in the world. I absolutely love her!

We visited for the Friday Night Fish Fry and dined on the deck. The perch was excellent, and my wife thought the cod was very good as well. She’s had some cod in the past that she wasn’t happy with, but this one was light and flaky. I particularly enjoyed the potato balls, which were one of the potato choices offered with the meals. Each dinner also came with coleslaw and apple sauce. Kim served us personally and was very attentive. The prices were reasonable too.

There was only one person working, so she had to manage both cooking and bartending. As a result, we decided not to order food because the wait was too long.

As a puppy lover, I just had to give this place a try, and I wasn't disappointed at all. It was a quiet weeknight, so the owner was personally handling both the bar and the kitchen. I ordered the squash bisque, which had a wonderfully velvety texture. I also really enjoyed the fries—simple yet delicious, without all the unnecessary twists that some restaurants try to add these days. The beer selection is quite impressive, and the portions are moderate, which I appreciated!

The new owner is fantastic and truly knows how to manage the establishment. There is no shortage of artisanal beer options, and the menu's quality and variety compete with that of the best restaurants. They've even incorporated history by featuring a piece related to Al Capone. Be sure to check out the deck!
