I wanted to try the new Mexican food from Camille's Cantina. I ordered 3 meals for carry out. I arrived 20 minutes after ordering and was informed that the food was not ready. Thats fine. Nice hot food is what I was thinking. It took me 5 minutes to get home with my carryout after it was ready. Unfortunately, the food was cold and actually quite bland. The beans had zero seasoning and it seems like, somehow, the beans blander than refried beans in a can. Crazy! The worst part what the Fajitas we received. This is a $20 Fajita dinner. Cheese, tortillas, and sour cream were packed separately and we received them. However, we received no rice or beans. I called to ask to speak with a manager. They were too busy to talk with me. Anyhow, the place looked nice inside and I was thinking this would be a nice place to hang out, and have a margarita, and some food. Too bad the food is just plain bad.
Was super hopeful this would be our new mexican spot as my wife and I love Mexican food. We were seated promptly and given a booster for our toddler. Be aware, like most booster seats it doesn't work well in the booths. Drink order was taken quickly and chips and salsa were brought out quick. Unfortunately that's were the positives end. The chips and salsa tasted as store bought as you could get. The only flavor from the salsa was tomato and there was no heat. The waitress stopped by once to see if we were ready to order and never returned after we asked for another minute. We clocked about 20 minutes of waiting before we decided to leave. Went to the bar to get change from a large bill to leave some money on the table. Waited at the bar for 5 minutes with no one behind it so I had to stop by the hostess stand. Even as I waited for the change I noticed the waitress walk by our table and not notice we had left. Extremely disappointing experience.
Mexican food is my favorite, and it 's usually hard to mess up. I was really rooting for them because it would be awesome to have a good local Mexican place...but there is nothing authentic about it, unfortunately. Service was horrible and we were ignored for about 30 mins. Chips were stale and the salsa was bland with zero spice. I don 't recommend it at all. Heard several patrons complaining about their food and saw people walk out. Bummer.
Love the new menu! Tried the lunch enchiladas today. Perfect portion and the homemade chips and salsa were outstanding! Can’t wait to try more items. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
