Contribuiți la feedbackWhen in Nevers recently, we had difficulty finding somewhere that served something different. So having found a Mercure hotel, we decided to try that and was not disappointed. It's right by the river and has a lovely terrace too. The welcome, service, choice and quality of food was all excellent. We will definitely return when we are next in the area and will probably stay at the hotel also.
Today, August 15th we left lunch with the mercury of nevers, a catastrophe, a single person in the kitchen, a single person in the room, we waited between each dish, we wanted to eat foie gras, there was only one left, no rosé de sancerre, ham machine down! the waiting was endless I advise the mercury to nevers to close in August if there are no personnel it would be more reasonable, for our part we will no longer put back the feet (salted purée, lukewarm water, limit fish) what shame for the group agreement
I wrote my discontent on June 20 following an incident involving a good gift in this restaurant. I want to go back to what I could write because the management apologized for this misunderstanding and offered me the meal again. I couldn't reach the manager to talk to him loudly and thank her. There's no scam or dishonesty in this place, and I'll be able to go back to my husband and I'll go back.
The meal was good, nothing to say and the correct service.On the other hand, I would like to give my dissatisfaction with the addition and the scam that hides it.My friends offered us a meal in this restaurant on January 1, 2017, the top! : the aperitif (2 royal kirs) an entry, a dish, cheese and dessert. The only thing we had to pay is the wines, but really a very nice gift. This voucher was valid until June 30th, so we went to this restaurant yesterday June 19th.Everything went well until the addition or in fact we were asked to pay 12 more because since the price of the menu had increased!!!I say that it is shameful and unacceptable for us as well as for our friends!!!Moreover, it was necessary that it was me who asks the waitress why of this addition. She would have come the boring air at the beginning of the meal warn us by excusing herself that there was an increase!But not even it is necessary that it be we who listen to this dishonesty because I call it to be dishonest because what is paid and written is of! we do not return on it. On the right it was well noted 2 royal kirs, 2 dishes, cheese and dessert no paragraph expressing or considering any increase. I'm not at least 12€ but it's by principle. All of this does not make you want to come back and advise him. So I'm advising another restaurant much more honest!
I spent 1 night not terrific air conditioning hs in the room with the current heat not terrific the answer of the receptionist I am sorry!!! and the icing on the elevator cake breaks so very disappointed for 1 mercury I go there to precisely have this comfort at the high price!!!
