San Marco - Neusiedl am See

Nice restaurant when you eat outside. Good food and much better dessert. Have a really great amount of different ice creams as dessert. Staff can be more friendly. They made a mistake with my diner, but they solved him right. Tortellini with salmon is good and... also the Tuna salad was fresh and good.

10 years have gone by since San Marco because a daily ritual for most of the Volunteers at the World Sailing Game 2006. A diversified group of friends, from 19 nationalities gathered round San Marco's tables to eat great Pizza, Pasta or Icecream while enjoying...the sun and the laid back ambiance and the hospitality of the owner himself. Thank you.

I 've been here with my boyfriend, after we took a romantic walk at lake Neusiedl. It is queit close to the lake by car, there are enough parking place on the street. Thier pizza is really amazing. I think the ingredients are very good and...fresh. They have a very big terracce and the place inside is also very spacious. I saw a lot of yummi ice cream as well, but the weather wasn 't so good when we were there, so we haven 't try these yet. I really recommend this place, the service is fast and perfect, but sometimes I would give them a rest, 'cause they were very fast, always around our table in a minute when we ask for stg. : It is good, but take it easy guys, everything is perfect there! ;

San Marco is a great combination of Pizzeria and Eis Café (creamery). The store front is right on the main drag through town so very easy to locate. Their pizza tastes a bit different than what you can find in the US, but very good...all the same. I had the ‘Inferno’ which is pretty much a supreme style pizza with spicy peppers (delicious). Another good pizza is the ‘Hawaiian’ which as I’m sure you’ve guessed is ham and pineapple. Do not leave this place without sampling their Eis (gelato). They have a great selection with something for everyone. They had a whiskey gelato on the menu, but this is a specialty that they only server on weekends. Everyone that has tried it raves about it. However, we were not here on the right night so I tried their Amarenakirsch (cherry) instead. Other favorites were the Nutella, Heidelbeere (Blue Berry), and Haselnuss (Hazelnut). Do not miss this gelato!

It is really nice italian restauran which I would highly recommend especially for the icecream !!! It tastes great reallyhome made taste , I would say even in Italy it is not so esasy to find such icecream I tried a pizza as well...and I must say it was very good as well but still ot so good as in Italy. The pastry was thin and crunchy whichis good but the size is a little bit too small.The staff if very friendly and the atmosfere is great...the closure of the road is a bit annoying but the overall impression is great. I watched the first football game of the european championship in there poland greece match ..eating pizza and icecream, drinking wine, watching austrian people cheering polish team...what can be better then that ;
