Hoffmann’s Weinzeit ist a real insider tipp. This typical Heurigen Restaurant is located between the beautiful wine yards of Mönchhof and offers a spectacular view from the wonderful terrace. It is probably one of the most romantic places in the area and if you are...there in the summer you can enjoy the sunset from the terrace on a warm evening accompanied by a glas of the fantastic red wine which Michael and his sympathic wife Doris are producing in their own small winery. Michael is one of the up and coming young wine makers in North Burgenland who will certainly have a very bright future. The restaurant offers typical Heurigen meals but also a fantastic “Weinzeit Burger”, a variety of tasty tarte flambées or a platter full of cheese, ham and vegetables. During wintertime Doris is sometimes cooking spicy Chili con carne or mexican soup while her guests are sipping a glas of wine at the fireplace. Highly recommended!
