Meat was not tender at all, sauce was awful. The foie gras was accompanied by so...much sweet things that it was difficult to make it go down without water and bread. desserts bland. The service mediocre. Extremely expensive for an evening that was not memorable. I add an extra point for the outlook of the building.
Right in the middle of the town there is this sort of castel with a large garden and you can go eat there... Very beautiful. And the meal was delicious too, we had some fish and everything was very good.
Is it a restaurant debt when they are harassed by puppies in the garden? is it her fault when she walked on an unannounced step and fall, tear her dress and can 't use her poor? they were nice, three men lifted me up and left me on a chair, gave me water and did not hurry, even if they expected a high-time reception crown in ten minutes. eating was nice, a word I rarely use, okay, can't say tasty. cheesecake tasted like chocolate mousse.

I really did not expect this quality in Neuchatel. They had Austrian weeks when i was there with business partners. We had a simply astonishing experience. The starter was the low point, a cold soup which sounded terrific on the menue, for me there simply...was not enough soup compared to the shaves fennel in the middle of the plate. Main course of Kangaroo, cooked to perfection and accompagned by some nice sauce. The ‘avant dessert’ were three icecreams with ingenious citrus falvours from Australia. Very refreshing and exciting variations. Dessert was a Pavlova with fruits and icecream. Very nice combination and if anything almost too generous a portion. I missed to taste the cheese. But i have not seen such a beautyful range. Nor such an amazing walk in fridge. Australian wine went really well with the food. Service attentive and sharing all the information we really wanted. Thanks for a wonderful lunch.
