The good old Avinay always been a regular at this place whenever I visit Goa. However make sure you check your fish and as the price before you order as these people tend to add any rate for tourists.Must try the Fish thali, crumb fried mussels and kingfish raway fry.

Not at all a bad place. Lot of locals visit here for no frills good local seafood. Hygiene is maintained throughout the restaurant. Maybe a few spots here and there ignored. If you are looking for a classy seafood restaurant to go with your family and all then maybe you should think again. I mean you wont have the comforts of a classy restaurant with regards to seating, plating etc. If you dont mind that then please do visit to get a good dose of Goan seafood. Avoid Mughlai or any North Indian food, I mean seriously who does that ??

Reasonably priced food. The Kingfish Masala and the Chonak cafreal are excellent and so is the crispy chicken.<br/ <br/ Fish thali too is pretty good.

I have visited this place for lunch every time I visit Goa. Avinay is a local restaurant which serves seafood with local goan flavours. You will find local goans visiting this place. You should try the rava fried calamaris, rava fried goan chonak fish and masala chonak which has the local goan masala. The masala is finger licking good... The seafood thali has to be tried for sure... That will finish your meal... <br/ <br/ Ambience is not that great, plastic tables and chairs. It has a small a/c room. Serves alcohol who doesn't in Goa. The service has been swift every time I have visited. Parking is a bit tricky if you have a car. <br/ <br/ To sum it up, its a great place sheerly because of the food. If you don't care about the ambience, you should visit this place and I assure you will come back again.
