John's Cracker Barrel - Neptune City

The food here is exceptional! I'm so grateful for this local gem. Pierre and Carrie truly run a fantastic establishment!

This is our go-to place when we're in a rush and need a quick bite. The pizza is good—not extraordinary, but satisfactory. Their subs are fantastic; I highly recommend the grilled chicken with fresh mozzarella on a panini, served with fries. The kids really enjoy the chicken fingers with fries. The service is excellent, and the staff is wonderful—I can't say enough good things about them. Be sure to check out their specials! Also, their ice cream is surprisingly underrated!

I decided to give this place a try based on a strong recommendation and ordered the Grandma Margarita pie for pick-up. I prefer a crispy, baked crust, but some pieces were a bit too crunchy for my liking, which made them hard on the teeth. The pie itself was good—I'd even go as far as to say it was delicious—but some of the edge pieces were more burnt than baked. It likely could have come out of the oven a bit sooner. Also, I noticed that the price was higher than what was listed online and in-store, so an update on the menu pricing would be a good idea. I heard they make great sandwiches too, so I’ll definitely have to check that out next time!

Pizza was delicious with huge slices and the service was outstanding!

We were in the car looking for food, I was looking up what was in that immediate area, saw this place, the food was fresh, and the establishment was clean. The menu is a la carte, prices are reasonable. Simple menu, my burger was good.
