As soon as they finally reach the mattajoch, they are greeted as old friends and shown photo books of the last parties; if a band plays on the stage near, the place really needs to swing. the owner also works conscientiously to create a mountain restaurant that is in the virtual world. is well-known as proved by its online presence. assumed they have migrated or ridden their bike all the way up, they can justify any court and that is a good thing because eating is simply excellent. we shared a part of the senner rösti (hash browns with cheese and tomaten and I think a fried egg). because I'm not a fan of apfelstrudel, we just ordered one. big mistake! it's really to die, and next time I'll know better. obviously, her sneezing trudel is just as delicious. when we were gone, the owner betrayed us with a free shot of hazelnuts; he gets limited amounts of a friend every year and we had luck trying some of the last drops. the magnificent panoramic view from the restaurant is all the more just for their efforts to come up there. those who are less susceptible to physical exertion can order the restauranttaxi to apply them; otherwise, as far as we know, cars are prohibited unless they are in one of the nearby cabins holiday.

Here you can strengthen yourself if you have taken the way to the alpe gamp behind you. the menu is good-bourgeois and appropriate in the price. a must if you walk to gamp. we always like to come here.
