The Derg Inn - Nenagh

Delicious salmon!! Great atmosphere great service. Would recommend over all the restaurants in the area!

We were in Terryglass last week and The Derg Inn was locked up. It appeared to have ceased trading some while ago. I am surprised nothing nothing appears on this site to spare people having a wasted journey. We ended up in Paddy's Bar for lunch!!!!! Beware of their prices... My Chicken and Ham meal turned up very dry.... Not enough gravy. So, I asked for a few spoonfuls of extra gravy. They never told me that they were going to charge 3 euros for it!!! Yep!!! THREE Euros for a drop of gravy!!!!

Stayed nearby on a Tuesday night, hoped for some tasty grub after a long drive. Was presented with, quite simply, one of the finest meals I,ve had in a long long time. Manager Charlie and the staff welcomed us like old friends on a rainy night, good beer, good atmosphere and simply stunning food. I can't recommend the Derg Inn highly enough!!!!!

Had dinner here’s yesterday evening, the food and service is excellent. Farmhouse Salad is delicious as are the Chips, very enjoyable meal

We had the most delicious seafood linguine and a Chablis The staff were chatty attentive and friendly. The assistant manager went out of her way to accommodate us outside with our dogs. We felt welcome and comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend for food and ambience.
