Uptown Sports Bar @New Grand Hotel

We came to Nelson after a day of touring the area. We planned to go somewhere else to eat but were told by people we met to come here to eat. So glad we did! The food waa awsome and good portions....the peanut butter burger was fantastic. If you haven't tried it you need to! Would have it again. The service was great and really friendly. Fantastic atmosphere. We will be back!

We stopped here for a drink and perhaps an appie - but the service was so poor we had a quick drink and headed to Finley's!Both our server and the bar tender seemed 'out of it' and NOT customer focused at all. I had to go to the bar to get our drinks because our server didn't come back after dropping the menus! Yikes!Very NICE environment but terrible service.

Fantastic burger, I had the one with peanut butter, sounds odd but tasted great. Local Stout was a good accompaniment. Staff were friendly and the service was very good.

Modern sports bar decor. Lay out is great for watching sports, playing a game of pool or just socializing with friends. Even though it is primarily a sports bar the open lay out has areas that are a bit away from the main bar area and are good for having a conversation/socializing. All the food we ordered was very good. Drinks were good and the specials were affordable. Service at the bar was excellent. The one server seemed to struggle a bit bit the bartenders made up for her. Friendly bartenders and they were quick. Great place to watch a game or a couple at the same time.

The staff is very friendly, the food is great, I recomend Beef dip or Chicken wrap, its easy to relax by the window in the cumfy booths
