The Royal Grill & Lounge - Nelson

If you're a fan of beer, cocktails, live music, and amazing food, you need to visit The Royal. Located on Baker St in downtown Nelson, this spot is the place to be for a vibrant atmosphere. With an extensive selection of local craft beers and unique dishes at affordable prices, it's a must-visit. I highly recommend trying the black bean veggie burger with feta and cheddar cheese – it's absolutely delicious. The Royal is known for its top-notch sound system that truly enhances the live music experience, featuring a fantastic lineup of local and touring artists. In addition to music, they also host paint nights and movie nights, making it a true community hotspot.

Such a cool place. The colours, the vibe and the drinks are great. Good selection of beers on tap, I’ll have to visit again and try the food.

During our stay in Nelson this place quickly became a favourite! The honey mustard chicken wings are amazing!!!! We couldn't stop talking about them and stopped in specifically for them several times. Live music was really fun as well!

Cool place to stop for a drink and some food. They had a live DJ on the patio which made for a great vibe and the food was delicious. They also allowed Dogs on the patio.

Food and feel was great. We went for a concert but the sound was not great. They were pushing the speakers beyond their capacity. Other than that, great place to eat and drink.
