Nicola's Cantina - Nelson

We came in late on a Wednesday evening and were the last to order. The staff were fun and friendly and we were happy to enjoy a good atmosphere and have a great dinner. Really generous margarita and a surprise when we left!

This place really exceeded my expectations. The waiting staff was pretty good. There was one instance when they forgot to serve us our desert, but they apologised and we go it in the end so there’s no hard feelings there. But apart from that the service was prompt and phenomenal. Our main meals were out to us within minutes of ordering and we really appreciated this. <br/ <br/ Their tacos and burritos was made to absolute perfection. They are reasonably priced and yet they are quality. You can really taste the fresh ingredients and I love that. They don’t leave you feeling gross and heavy, instead you leave feeling satisfied. <br/ <br/ Also the best churros I’ve had in a long time. <br/ Definitely recommend this place.

Our favorite restaurant in Nelson, very authentic mexicano cuisine and reasonably priced. The seafood burrito and ceviche do our local fish justice, but it's all good, esp. the deserts.<br/

I thought it was pretty authentic Mexican food (not that I've been to Mexico), generous servings, fantastic attentive and friendly service, food was quick to be served. Yum, yum, yum!

Great place to be really nice food burritos and quesadilla and everything lovely environment friendly staff : only thing I didn't like was the music was too loud I had a bit of problem Gavin a conversation with my date which was kinda sad everything else was just perfect !
