Mama San - Nelson

This restaurant had the fastest service I have ever experienced. In just 30 minutes, I was in and out the door, which was perfect for me. I enjoyed a delicious Buddha feast of vegetables and tofu in a tasty sauce with hints of five spice, ginger, garlic, and soy.

I highly recommend Singapore satay! The fresh ingredients, abundant veggies, and modern restaurant design are all fantastic. Give it a try!

Great restaurant- ambience is lovely and excellent selection of vegan options or can be made vegan. Will definitely be back. Did not wait long for food even though it was very busy.

The restaurant menu clearly indicates vegan options, and the staff is willing to assist with any questions. We ordered crispy spring rolls, fish roti, chicken curry, and sunbath tofu (all made vegan) and everything was delicious.

Have tried several dishes here and have loved every one. It’s nice to have another place in Nelson where you get more than 1 or 2 vegan options in the menu. Usually quite busy so it pays to book in advance.
