Lombardi’s Ristorante - Nelson

I absolutely adored the atmosphere, and the owner, who speaks with a delightful Italian accent, was incredibly hospitable! We had a fantastic evening and will certainly return. I ordered the carbonara, which felt like a warm embrace on a plate. We kicked off our meal with the garlic pizza bread, and it was fantastic! I paired my main dish with a buttery Chardonnay, and each sip was like a celebration for my taste buds. I highly recommend this place for the wonderful experience, delicious food, and charming ambiance!

I can't wait to return! The vodka lemon soda was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of lemon. The gnocchi was among the best I've had in New Zealand. The prawn penne was also fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed my tiramisu, and my husband was thrilled with his panna cotta. The service was exceptional, and the beef was incredibly juicy!

Lombardi's serves excellent quality and truly authentic Italian cuisine. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment you enter. The service is prompt, and the dishes are beautifully presented. Additionally, the portions are generous and quite filling. It's definitely worth a visit if you're seeking a high-quality meal in the city.

Most fantastic authentic Italian restaurant I've ever be too, delicious pizza that was beautifully crispy right to the middle. The pasta was to die for with extravagantly spiced Italian sausages throughout. 11/10
