Haven Fish Chips - Nelson

My fish and chips stop in nelson. I usually command the gurnard and it is always fleshy and tasty. the chips are crispy outside and soft inside, simply perfect.

This place has the best fish and chips I've had in New Zealand so far.

Everyone has his own idea as they like their fish and chips, but we have tried all places in nelson and have come here for two years and have not been disappointed.

This was the best fish and chip shop 15 years ago, and it still is! It has a lovely setting with a view of the bay where you can enjoy your meal.

Least-greasy greasies I've had, but in a good way. Beautiful fillet battered and cooked to order along with fresh chips. Asked for minimal salt on the chips and got exactly what I ordered. Fish of the day (Southern king fish) was great. Lovely and fresh with perfect amount of batter. Will come again
