I would strongly advise against visiting this pub at all costs! The owner was incredibly rude and sarcastic, showing no hospitality towards guests. He even went as far as to change the channel on the television during a crucial sporting event to play his own music. When asked if we could finish watching the game, he flat out refused and told us not to even ask. The food was decent, but not even top-notch cuisine could entice me to return. The bartender, Jemma, on the other hand, was pleasant and friendly. Overall, the owner's behavior was so bad that it made Basil Fawlty look like the perfect host. I would give The Holly Bush in Nelson, Caerphilly a negative 5-star rating.
