Taberna Do Chef - Nelas

We found this place by accident on our search for lunch. They server a prato do dia for 8€ incl. sopa, main, desert, cafe, drinks which is a very good value as it 's hard to find in Portugal places to sit outside for lunch (or dinner on hot summer evenings) Come here and support these young folks in this new business!

Had the dish of the day. Very average. Lot of people, probably cos it is cheap. Rather crammed in as well. Looks better than the food.

Very inviting and friendly staff. Unfortunately the daily dish that was recomended was not great. I believe the meat menu is more enjoyable. Nonetheless i recomend this restaurant int the summer for it's esplanade..

Excelente atendimento.Menu variado com pratos exclusivos do Chef Mattos. Facil de estacionar. Ambiente familiar. Ideal para happy hour (pastel saboroso) e almoco. Também otimas refeicoes prontas congeladas para viagem.
