Timshel Cafe - Neenah

This café/sandwich shop is very spacious inside and beautifully designed and decorated with a earthy natural materials art of look. looks and feels very nice. I visited a nearby paper factory for work and came for a quick lunch. there was a series of business-eating couples and small groups. that would be a nice environment for it. / I have made a mistake, not to recognize that the special, a wisco walnut burger, was not a burger, but actually a vegetarian patty with walnuts. the description was mouthwater. it had brie and a few cranberry dressing, and some fruity greens I thought would be very interesting with walnuts on a juicy burger. I will try not to paint my disappointment too much, because this seems like a nice place, and I am sure that the walnutsburger would have been in order if I was someone who is in this kind of thing. the bungalow was very boring, and the whole thing was a bit weak, even though I came over the lack of meat. the sweet potato chips are very good.

Great coffee and very nice atmosphere. I can’t recommend the food though. Breakfast sandwich had eggs that seemed like old reheated scrambled eggs with an odd texture, and the whole sandwich tasted very bland. Couldn’t really taste the cheese. This menu item needs improvement. Will definitely return for coffee and try some bakery items. If you’re looking for breakfast food I would recommend somewhere else, but this is a beautiful and cozy place for tasty coffee.
