Contribuiți la feedbackAfter seeing all the good reviews we opted to try Holiday's Pub Grill over Stuc's Pizza at the last minute. I can't say I was overly happy with that decision. I will say nothing was overly wrong with the food it was just okay, nothing special. The service was friendly and our server was attentive. It was also really dark in there. I had the Kansas City Classic with the garlic fries, it was good but didn't wow me. My dining partner had the Thai Tacos she basically said the same thing they we good but not great. The chips with the salsa were just plain chips like out of a bag. Next time we will definitely give Stuc's a try instead. But I wouldn't steer anyone away especially if you love sports and lots of TVs, that was very plentiful
We ate at the outdoor deck on July 9th for lunch. We had a party of 7 and ordered a substantial amount of food. The shift manager came over and loudly reprimanded our table in front of other customers for bringing over a few items from Toms Drive In next door. Our waitress did not inform us this was not allowed when we asked her. We also figured it was not too big an issue due to both restaurants being owned by the same owner. I did not get her name, but her tone, and how she handled the situation in front of other customers was unprofessional and embarrassing for us. All she had to do was quietly and respectfully tell us. Instead, she decided to make a scene out of the situation in front of other customers. This is frustrating, especially after we asked our waitress and were given no objection. You now have 7 people who will not visit this business for a long time, let alone book parties in the upstairs like we have done in the past.
Good drinks, great chow. The pub is wheelchair accessible (has ramps, but not automatic doors). The staff were all welcoming and good natured. Lots of sports variety if that's your jam. Give it a go
The foods alright but the stadium type seating in the dining area is not for me. Too expensive to have to sit 3 feet from another group on a single bench. The pricing is intimate but the seating is dive bar.
We met up with another couple and decided even in the summer eve's heat the rooftop outdoor area would be nice. A nice view for sunsets and being up top you don't hear or really see the traffic. The wonderful staff was personable, attentive, efficient knowledgable. We started with the lucious garlic risotto crouquetts a creamy perfect risotto with the touch of parmesan deep fried so you get that wonderful crunchy crust then that oozy yummy delicious hint of garlic spills out. I admit I ordered the jalapeno aoli on the side the first time but no need to fear it. It is spicy but the heat is not too much, but ordering it on the side I think you get a bit more to share. ???? For the main course I ordered the Bacon Cheese Curd burger with the scrumpious sweet potato fries. The Burger is a cheese lovers delight. You have nummy cheese curds AND a shredded cheese blend with your typical lettuce tomato, but then the savory crispy bacon, a tangy sweet bbq sauce and a refreshing aoli with a great garlic ... They offer glutten free buns!!!!! ... but I chose a pretzel bun. Oh My I did not share it and so filling I brought some home ... for a midnight snack. First time, but will definitely be back! Again again!????
