My girlfriend ordered the meatball slider and sweet potato fries. The meatball slider was amazing—cooked to perfection and tasted very fresh. The sweet potato fries were equally well-prepared, and both dishes were served hot. I opted for the Texas Red Chili and a side salad with ranch dressing. The chili was delicious, topped with cheese, onions, and roasted peppers. The side salad was simple but good, and I appreciated that the dressing was served on the side—it was a tasty ranch dressing too. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will definitely be coming back!

We decided to visit this restaurant because my elderly mother saw on Facebook that it was dog and kid friendly. While it is indeed dog friendly, it's definitely not suitable for kids; it's more of a biker bar atmosphere. My burger was overcooked and resembled a burnt meatball rather than a proper hamburger. The fries were tasteless and impossible to eat, and the schnitzel was extremely dry and burnt as well. To make matters worse, someone chose to play rap music on the jukebox, which was filled with explicit language. The service was poor, and the overall cleanliness of the place was very disappointing. This was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. It just goes to show what can happen when you let your elderly mom choose a restaurant without questioning it.

We visited this restaurant with our dog for dinner and approached the staff in a polite and patient manner. However, the waitress was very rude to us throughout our visit, making us feel unwelcome. Unfortunately, the behavior of the staff was disappointing and not surprising given the overall atmosphere. We chose to leave and went to a different place instead. We found that both Ned's and Crosscut Pizza nearby offer much better dining experiences in Nederland. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant and its staff.

Guess what? The saloon serves breakfast in the morning! Just keep in mind that there are probably no windows in this place, so you'd better be awake when you go. Their breakfast options are quite standard, but this is a welcome addition since there aren't many choices for morning meals around.
