Hikarys Fish - Neath Port Talbot

I cannot complain about the product, wonderful food…..but…..on two occasions I have used the app. 1st occasion they gave me the wrong order and realised this once home. I phoned and had to drive back to get amended order. 2nd occasion there was a delay in their receiving the order on their machine. Even though I showed them the email they would not give me the order nor refund me. Was told I had no choice but so wait. Customer always right…????

Order food from here this evening was advised collection 20.20 went down food wasn’t ready to collect started getting ready when said who I was we had ordered two meal deals which comes with a side I we have always been given a choice before over or in a tub we have always had it in a tub when I asked for the first one in a tub rather then over was advices meal deal comes over I did say didn’t know but the food wouldn’t be eaten as don’t like it all over when the second one was done I asked the same the lad tutted at me I would of willing paid for the tubs I asked for him not to tut at me and another girl chipped I said you have already told me that in future to order separate which I said thank you I will remember for next time then the manager said he wouldn’t do that I said he did I am not a lier well he wouldn’t off done it I said I will have a refund then and will be into to see the manager was informed that one was the manager as she gave me the money I said ok be into to see the owner well he isn’t here till Friday morning that’s ok I will pop onto see him on Friday I will never be using hickory again in tonight was the worse service I have every had in there absolutely appalling service

Just had fish and chips from you,,the batter was **** beautiful,,much nicer when the skin is removed,,chips were stunning,,and the tarter sauce although not much of it is beautiful,,delivery again friday

There are two outstanding fish and chip shops in Neath and this is one of them. We have visited many times but for some reason not left a review. They are a little pricey compared to others BUT worth it. Very clean place, staff well turned out, service good, portions good and quality outstanding. I watched the owner training a new person recently the man is an absolute perfectionist and it shows in what comes out of his shop. He and the whole team should be very proud of themselves.

Clean as clean can be, good portions, masks worn, great range and excellent quality. I really cannot fault this place a bit
