Copper Penny - Neath Port Talbot

It was a last decision minute to visit on Sunday to the Margam Deer @port talbot and to be fair Jack was awesome on the carvery, it was a long queue and his customer service was fab he apologised for the queue as it was so busy and he was a gentleman…and had excellent customer service skills….the leek and onion gratin was amazing !!!l Jonny one of the other chefs was also great and kept popping out his head out to make sure everything was okay. Hannah was also amazing and running around looking after everyone. To add to my review Liz who served me on the bar was so friendly and so super helpful. We had a great time. Thank you!

Have been here quite a few times of the last couple of years and always choose to eat the carvery. It used to be a little hit and Miss standard wise but we always stuck with it. The meat portions were okay but never huge. We went there today and the meat offerings have shrunk to less than half of what you used to be given, upon mentioning this we were told that in the past they gave you too much. So if you still enjoy a carvery with the smallest meat portions we have ever had then you will be okay. On the positive side, when management start wondering why they are losing customers it shouldn’t be too difficult to come up with the answers.

As a group of friends we used to come here a lot, Music, Quiz, Fun Days it had it all. The team were great and the food fantastic. But that all changed what happened? But we decided to go back and it is getting back on track the new manager seems to know what she is doing and team are smiling and happy. We hope this is a sign of the things that come and we can make this our regular again.

Always a warm welcome at the MD. Usually just call for a couple, but when I have eaten here I have never been disappointed. The beers are expensive but the San Miguel doesn’t disappoint.
