A wonderful dinner ... simple fresh fish, elegantly served ... oh and don’t forget to try the fish soup. Leave room for dessert, though .. homemade Portuguese specialities. Try the Molotov .. a soft meringue-cake with caramel sauce! Apparently it’s easy to make!! Made to feel welcome and a delicious meal .. you could not ask for more.
One of our favourite restaurants here in Nazare. We had dinner here on Friday night....it was soo good that we came back again on Saturday night! We had the sardines, fish rice, fish stew and the grilled cuttlefish over the course of both nights. The food was delicious 5/5 and the seafood was prepared outside on a grill the smell was wonderful... Meals 5/5 Service 5/5 Atmosphere 5/5 A definite must if you are here in Nazare and would like a traditional seafood Portugese meal. Thank you again for a wonderful experience.
A literally wonderful reunion hello after 8 years! Back in Nazaré again delicious eaten at Casa Bizaro a Zézé . It remains a place with its own, tasty, menu and a great hostess. Again surprised with delicious grilled gold bream and sea bass. Also the Douro wine was delicious. Well done. We 'll definitely come back this period.
A quaint traditional restaurant off the main strip. Tucked away on an unassuming street, when you enter Casa Bizarro, you immediately recognize it as a slightly hidden gem. It is romantic and familiar at the same time. The atmosphere is warm and the decor is traditional. The walls covered in tiles with soft Portuguese music playing in the background, I was able to immerse myself a bit more than other locations in this beach town. The owner Ana is friendly and welcoming. There’s bread and some bites as a starter— olives and peel and eat shrimp. I ordered the half portion of fish stew for one. It was more than enough food. To finish my meal I indulged in a piece of the lemon tart. It was delicious and a great addition to my experience. I highly recommend visiting this location if you find yourself among the cobble stone streets of Nazare and would like a less “touristy” experience. I will return.
