Ristorante Bar Crocus - Navelli

Very causal and really good pizza for dine in or take out. Also, their pizza's made with saffron are all really good as are their pastas. If you want a low key dinner with great food, especially pizza... The Crocus is it. Also, extremely consistent... Which is why we go back each time we are in Italy.

We arrived in Navelli just past lunch time but they gladly accommodated us. We ate there three times and every time was a joy. Highly recommend the saffron and sausage pizza.

We have been coming to the Crocus for the last three years and taken family and friends. This time however was a disaster. The starters were ordered but my husband was told he couldn't have what he wanted. We ordered the prima and that seemed OK. We ordered the secondi and I was told that what I wanted was the same as I had ordered for a previous course so I chose something else but not what I really wanted. What turned up was a mystery!!! My husband got his second choice of starter whilst I got his first..... the one he couldn't have. I complained but was fobbed off. The primo never arrived. As for the secondi I got my starter! Plus my second choice of secondi. My husband did get what he had ordered. So....... our big meal turned out to be a small meal and only two items were what we originally ordered. Yes we are English and this is an Italian restaurant but we have never had a problem ordering before. It is unlikely we will bother going again even though we have a house nearby. We certainly won’t recommend it as we have before. We normally tip between 10 and 20% depending on service. This time we left nothing.

Già il posto, piazza Duomo, è suggestivo. Così come la gentilezza dei gestori e bontà degli hamburger che abbiamo gustato a un prezzo ragionevole.

Siamo stati in questo bar/ristorante/stazione di servizio sulla statale prima di arrivare a Navelli venendo dall'Aquila e devo dire che abbiamo trovato un luogo informale, ma con ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo, in due occasioni nel giro di pochi giorni. La seconda volta lo abbiamo indicato anche a dei turisti napoletani che abbiamo incontrato visitando i dintorni e che poi abbiamo ritrovato lì a pranzo soddisfatti del consiglio dato. Il menù non molto vario ma con piatti tipici del luogo, come i ceci con lo zafferano, gli gnocchetti alla navellese sempre con zafferano, la coratella buona, anche l'agnello molto tenero. Anche il servizio è stato veloce. Che dire, se non si cercano location particolari ma solo un onesto servizio di ristorazione con piatti gustosi e locali è sicuramente da consigliare
