Zero stars!! I went there this evening and the service was awful. The bleach blonde waitress Came to the car with an attitude. When I asked her when the food would be ready she spat on me. When I asked for manger they wouldn’t let me inside.

I really enjoy this BBQ place! They only offer takeout at the moment, as they don't have dine-in services available yet.

The food was delightful! I tried the surf and turf cheese steak, and the steak was incredibly tender while the shrimp was cooked to perfection. The mac and cheese was exceptional, bursting with flavor, and the pasta was cooked just right—unlike many mac and cheese dishes I've had elsewhere. I genuinely can't wait to return and sample more of their offerings!

I ordered the BBQ game hen with rice and gravy, along with some greens, and I have to say, I was quite disappointed. The hen was extremely dry and nearly inedible, with barely any BBQ sauce to speak of. It seemed old, almost as if it was leftover from the day before. I've had whole cooked chickens from the grocery store that were much more tender and juicy. As for the rice and gravy, it would have been decent if they had included enough gravy for flavor, but it tasted like plain rice. The greens were the highlight of the meal, although they had a canned taste. Given the positive reviews, I was hopeful, but ultimately, I was very let down.

I absolutely love this restaurant! It's hands down the best food you'll find near Wilmington and even beyond. My favorite dish is the meatloaf sandwich.
